COLLAGEN

Injectable collagen is a natural biomaterial that provides temporary correction of wrinkles and some acne scars. Patients love this simple procedure which can be performed in just minutes, making an immediate and long-lasting difference in fine lines around the eyes and mouth.

BOTOX

Botox offers the most exciting, new treatment for frown lines and lines around the eyes (so-called crows feet) since collagen. It produces immediate results for those difficult frown lines between the eyebrows that were previously almost impossible to eliminate. Patients see the benefits for months as the medicine interferes with the action of the muscle that is responsible for pulling down the skin and forming frown lines. This leaves the patient with a relaxed, softer look and in some ways retrains the muscles to avoid frowning altogether. Also, Botox is a hypoallergenic treatment making it a convenient alternative for patients who are allergic to collagen. Botox can also be used in conjunction with facial laser resurfacing.

FACIALS AND PEELS

In the past decade, scientific methods for beautification have undergone unprecedented growth. Skin peels have been performed for thousands of years, but only recently the techniques have been refined to achieve a much higher level of improvement. Benefits from peels are twofold: they give skin a softer and gentler appearance; additionally, they may well act as a preventive measure against skin cancer. Dr. Freeman uses a variety of peels which are specifically designed for each patient’s skin type and social requirements.

SCLEROTHERAPY FOR LEG VEINS

Sclerotherapy is a safe and simple procedure designed to remove small, unsightly leg veins. A solution is injected through a very fine needle directly into the vein. The solution irritates the vessel lining causing it to diminish or disappear.
